In the third quarter of 2024, the top sports apps on the iOS platform in Denmark showcased varied performance trends, according to Sensor Tower data.

Olympics: Live Sports & News stood out with an early surge in weekly downloads, peaking at about 17K by the week of July 22. However, this was followed by a sharp decline, closing the quarter with just 34 downloads. The app’s weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 1.6K and reaching a high of nearly 35K by late July, before tapering off to 551 by the end of September.

Fodbold experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads throughout the quarter, beginning with 289 in early July and capping at nearly 3.8K in mid-August. The app maintained a robust base of weekly active users, fluctuating around the 20K mark and peaking at over 24K in August.

DHL Stafetten København saw a significant spike in downloads during late August, with numbers reaching approximately 19.7K. The preceding weeks showed modest download figures, but the app ended the quarter with minimal activity.

Copenhagen Half Marathon experienced a late surge in downloads, with figures jumping to around 11.5K in early September. Prior to this, downloads gradually increased from 33 in early July to 481 by late August, reflecting growing interest as the event date approached.

Holdsport - Til dit sportshold demonstrated consistent growth in revenue, peaking at $490 in early September. Downloads also showed a positive trend, starting at 253 and reaching a high of 2.2K in mid-August. This sustained interest suggests a strong user base for managing sports teams.
